Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend and were able
to celebrate with family and friends! I was able to spend a lot of time in
comtemplation of the meaning behind this time of year and found a lot of help
through the Church's General Conference where many speakers talked about the
Lord Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. My spirit was uplifted greatly.
We were able to spend time with other families this past
weekend. We enjoyed a big breakfast over at one family's home before the Sunday
sessions of Conference started. The Music and the Spoken Word was going on
before the session started and I basically started dancing when the He is
Risen! organ arrangement got going. Yeah . . . . pretty awesome!
This week, the stake is putting on a Music and the Spoken
Word-esque performance where the Living Christ document will be narrated and
several musical numbers will be performed. I have somehow been put in charge of
almost everything, but the stress has been decreasing as of late over this
event. We hope lots of people will turn out and feel the Spirit testify of the truthfulness
of the Savior's life and mission.
